The scale model above was created for the EastEnders production team to help orient Directors and Designers to the new Front Lot during the latter stages of the COVID‑19 pandemic. Built to scale from the As‑Built architectural drawings, it provided a clear and accessible overview of the site layout at a time when on‑set access was limited.
Each individual building was meticulously created to scale from AutoCAD elevations. Every window includes accurate reveals and extruded details such as mouldings and architectural accents, with external staircases modelled to their precise sizes and locations to ensure full fidelity to the built environment.
Once each building had been constructed, every garden and boundary wall also had to be replicated to match the on‑site build. Streetlights, trees, and drop kerbs were included as well, as these elements could influence camera positions and sightlines across the set.
