This 3D model was created and rendered as part of a personal project to produce audiobook covers.
The design incorporates multiple roundels and column elements inspired by the 1980s TARDIS interior walls, complete with the iconic backlit roundels glowing with their distinctive yellow hue. This style was first introduced in 1983 during Peter Davison’s era as the Fifth Doctor and remained in use through the Sixth and early Seventh Doctor years, concluding with “Survival” in 1989.
The set design, led by Mike Kelt, aimed to modernise the TARDIS interior while retaining its classic visual identity.
